How much pressure is down there anyways? I thought you needed the pressure from a really heavy star to make metallic hydrogen. Although I suppose a womb made of the stuff could keep the pressure needed to make more metallic hydrogen diamond babies…

Hi. I've read that metallic hydrogen might form in the depths of gas giants
like Jupiter. in the case of the Abyssal creatures, they don't have babies like us, The male and females deposit a polar mass together and then fuse them with force beams that cause the formation of diamond components in the first stage, then greater forces are brought to bear, to form the metallic hydrogen elements. Only one in a thousand is successful and a "baby" forms. The other times kills one or both parents by exhausting them past the point of recovery. Ed.

How many babies per birth then? With such a low success rate, it sounds like many thousands need to be born for just the few to succeed.

Diamond? Well, at least we know it's carbon-based...

PS: Aggregate (e after the r), metallic (double l).
